ABOUT STEPHANIE PAINTER

Stephanie Painter has been practicing photography and filmmaking since 2006 when she first began working with the American Indian Film Institute on short films. She then moved on to work with ABC/Disney at Institute of American Indian Arts in New Mexico. The short film she created, "The Hand Drum" was taken internationally, and nationally, by being picked up by National Geographic after winning many awards. The short film even gained her a nod from The Academy's [Oscars] website where they declared she was, "making her mark on the film industry."

After taking a break from the industry to focus on family, she has made a comeback by launching her own YouTube channel, Black No. 1. She works with local artists, models, and performers in Northern Nevada to bring modern photography and make-up tutorials pertaining to Goth/Glam subculture.

Though her interests are presented with a gritty edge, she is capable of providing many services from wedding make-up, professional quality photography sessions, company training videos, and anything else her and her satisfied clients can dream up! She loves to push the boundaries while making sure the expectations and needs of her clients are exceeded.
